Cheese Class Poem

Cheese Class

It's made with three milks
     The teacher said.
Sheep, goat, and cow.
You can taste them each
     Across your tongue.
But first, what does it
     Smell like?
"Smells like dog," I said.
"Can you find a better word?"
     Asked the teacher.
But the guy beside me
     Says, "Yes, like when
     you pet your dog."

The grandchildren came.
     Their mother said,
"Smells like dog."
"Here," I said to
      Their little dog,
Holding out a small piece.
"It smells like you."
